Taxonomy Poster Project

This project is a poster that specifies the entire classification (from Kingdom to species) for one organism. You must also describe why that organism has that name, what characteristics qualify it to have that name. Finally you need at least one picture of the organism. The easiest choices are animals or plants, but you are allowed to choose Bacteria, Fungi or Protists if you so choose.

This poster will be due on Monday, January 14th, 2007. The same date as the test over Taxonomy.

Below are two useful links:
Taxonomy Project Rubric- This is a copy of the rubric you received in class.
Wikipedia- This is one place that is very easy to use to get the required information.
